Kindle Devices
Transfer Methods
1. Send to Kindle (Recommended)
The easiest way to send books to your Kindle devices and apps:
- Download the free Send to Kindle tool for PC/Mac
- Install and set up the tool
- Download an EPUB file from your account
- Right-click the EPUB file and select "Send to Kindle"
2. USB Transfer
For direct transfer to your Kindle:
- Connect your Kindle via USB
- Copy the MOBI* file to the "DOCUMENTS" folder
- Safely eject your Kindle
- Find the book under HOME
*As of the time of this writing Amazon supports EPUB only via Amazon’s "Send to Kindle" service, not through USB sideloading. To manually copy a book to your Kindle via USB, you must use the legacy MOBI format (older devices) or convert the EPUB to a supported format like AZW3.
